We just started composting this past summer, but it doesn’t seem to be breaking down. Are we doing something wrong?

Were you turning it over from time to time? Another mistake people make is not including enough “brown” in their compost piles. This means you need to include things like sticks, sawdust, leaves, dead plants and coffee. My guess is you were including mostly greens (food scraps, weeds, egg shells, etc.). If you were doing all these things, let me know!
