School choice should not be political

If schools have to compete for enrollment, and therefore have to create a better product (a.k.a. education), how is that a bad idea? I mean who (other than the teacher’s unions and therefore the Democrats) would be opposed to this? It just doesn’t make sense. Fortunately for my family, we live in a school district with competent teachers and administrators, who still put children first with effective and true policies. But what happens to those children and families stuck in failing schools simply because they live at the wrong address. Enough is enough…
